PRIVATE CANINE BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION

Many people experience problem behaviors in their dogs that are quite severe or just chronically irritating. Many of these types of issues are not addressed in a group class setting, and require individualized attention in order for effective change to take place.

• Meet with Myrph privately, and allow her to get to know both you and your dog. She will have you detail your dog’s history and the habits of your life with your dog, in order to understand the problem from your dog’s point of view.
• Myrph will make suggestions for change that will stop the problem behavior.
• You will also receive hands-on instruction in exercises to practice with your dog, for the purpose of reinforcing good behaviors. This will cause the changes and good behaviors to become permanent in your life with your dog.
• A first session typically lasts ninety minutes to two hours.
• Myrph will come to your home.  If you prefer, you can bring your dog to Myrph’s for a private session.
• Members of your household who are involved in the dog’s care are encouraged to attend.
• If you choose, each private session includes two follow-up phone consultations to help provide follow-through, consistency, and success.
• Myrph encourages forty-five minute follow-up lessons to help make your dog’s behavior consistent and permanent.  However, this is your choice…..not a requirement.

PRIVATE TRAINING LESSONS

Perhaps you are not having any severe behavior problems with your dog, but are simply trying to deal with generally unruly behaviors. Perhaps you would like to learn truly effective techniques for encouraging respectful good behavior in your dog. 

There are many people who prefer private lessons over the group class setting, or have work schedules that do not permit attendance at group classes.

• Schedule an appointment with Myrph for private lessons either at your home or at Myrph’s facility.
• You will receive the individual attention that you prefer.
• You will get immediate answers to all of your questions regarding your dog’s behavior and how to change it.
• You will receive education on natural canine behavior and techniques for positive relationship building with your dog.
• You will receive instruction and assistance in training exercises with your dog.
• A first lesson typically lasts ninety minutes to two hours.
• Each first lesson includes two follow up phone calls if you choose.
• Follow up lessons typically last forty five minutes.
